More about the woman behind the chair…

Sometimes, your natural talent leads you in the right direction. It started early for me. On my 16th birthday, I was gifted a full set of tools that unleashed the world of hair cutting for me. Imagine my excitement when soon I would find a way to make money doing what I was giving away for free!

I received my formal training at San Jose City College to become a licensed Cosmetologist. Followed by internships in Los Gatos & LA and always, always, to this day, continuing my education in hair.

Opening my first salon at age 20, then a handful of others along my way. I've been so very fortunate to have worked with hundreds of clients, doing what I love while calling it "work".  This career has enabled me to raise two children & be fully involved in their lives as they grew.

During my fulfilling career I've experienced many joyful occasions & celebrations of life...first haircuts on babies, proms, weddings, 1st, 2nd & 3rd generations of family members. And as life goes, this also involves the heartbreak of last haircuts during hospice, loss of dear clients, news of cancer diagnosis, shaving of heads and shedding of tears. But the light has always shined bright as hair grows back & life continues. All said and done, it's a privilege to be a part of it all.

Now my journey has led me on a new path from the South Bay, to the Peninsula. When not making the world a more beautiful place, one head at a time, I'm enjoying my time with my family & pets, and a love for cooking, entertaining & decorating.
